The Mackmyra Classic Collection consists of four Swedish classics, which together provide a good impression of the Mackmyra style. The range showcases the Swedish oak, the Swedish smoky flavour and the history of Mackmyra, with the Brukswhisky edition. Mackmyra Whisky is a Swedish single malt whisky distillery.It is named after the village and manor of Mackmyra, where the first distillery was established, in the residential district of Valbo, south-west of Gävle. The toponym is commonly suggested as deriving from owlet moths (Swedish: nattflyn) and mire (Swedish: myr). However, owlet moths have all but disappeared from present-day Mackmyra 2014-07-29 Mackmyra Svensk Ek is matured for 7-9 years in Swedish oak, ex-Oloroso, and ex-Bourbon casks. Sweet and fruity at first with a dry, savoury, spicy finish.
